CHRIS BENTLEY

BIO

 

Something of a globetrotter in his playing days, Chris was lucky enough to play in the Top14, Magners League, NPC and for the Exeter Chiefs in Premiership Rugby during a career that ran the best part of 13 years. He has also represented the Barbarians and was capped at under 21 level.  Following his retirement at the end of the 2011/12 season, he embarked on a new role with the Chiefs, working as a member of the corporate sales team. From there, he turned his hand to event hosting and began putting his charismatic charm to the stage, with experience vast ranging from at weddings to ideas festivals and everything in between.

 

Additional to his rugby career, Chris comes across well on voiceover and has worked with local radio, the BBC and More FM in New Zealand. His auctioneering skills have also been put to good use at many events, which have raised hundreds of thousands for good causes.
