BIO

Pip Tomson is a highly experienced and versatile live TV presenter, correspondent, journalist and event host. She has over 20 years of experience in live television. Most recently, as a presenter on Good Morning Britain and GB News.

She has twice received a Best Presenter award from the Royal Television Society for outstanding live outside broadcasts and studio presenting. She has interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, George Clooney and Hugh Jackman. She isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions of politicians either.

Always up for a challenge, Pip has completed charity treks to Everest Base Camp, Mount Kilimanjaro, sky dived with the Red Devils, bungee jumped over the River Tyne in Newcastle (in a Sunderland shirt) and regularly competes in the Great North Run half marathon.

 

She’s also a passionate dog lover. Two of Pip’s rescue dogs were saved from the dog meat trade in South Korea and she has travelled to Asia to help free more animals from the cruel industry. 

 

Pip enjoyed a successful newspaper career before broadcasting. She was appointed chief reporter of the Midlands-based ‘Express & Star’ newspaper at the age of just 23.

She's an accomplished host of corporate and charity events where clients have included MasterCard, cricket legends Sir Ian Botham and Kevin Pietersen, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Entrepreneurs’ Forum, Asian Achievers’ Awards and Power of One animal welfare charity.

Pip is known for her warm but authoritative and natural conversational style which captures audience attention and keeps them fully engaged throughout events and presentations. Her background in live television broadcasting, where anything can happen, makes her a perfect fit for any corporate occasion.
